Social Responsibility Projects have been launched in 2011 to create a sustainable culture of volunteerism in OzU. These projects are led by our volunteer students for OzU Cares. Within these projects, it is aimed to increase the awareness and experience of our students about the world and social problems.
A wide range of Civic Involvement Projects is carried out in coordination with the Introduction to University Life Course - SEC 101. Each student who takes this course takes up to 12 hours of work in projects produced by OzU Cares Team during the course of the course.
The second part of the Social Responsibility Projects is OzU Projects. OzU Projects are social responsibility projects that are developed to improve the culture of volunteering and sharing in the University. Every member of our university can contribute these projects. The most important of these projects are Shoe Box of Hope and Wish Tree.
